Lots of pics today

I have been meaning to walk the distance from Guildford to Godalming for ages and today I conquered it.

It was a beautiful day for it, considering it's been bucketing it down this week.  Hailstones arrived once I got home, so timed that well.
My knees are giving me grief tonight, think it really is time for new trainers (aka sneakers, runners etc).  Though could be to do with the amount of mud I had to contend with.  Amelia was impressed to see it all up my legs when I got home - made me look hardcore!  Today's walk had me snapping pics quite a bit with all the things to see along the River Wey.
This photo isn't zoomed in, I really was this close.  Frightening.

Toying with technology

I haven't been blogging here much as I have been recording my walks on an app on my phone, mapmywalk. Have decided to ditch mapmywalk now, it sucks battery life and I can't take pictures on my walk while the app is recording.

So back to runwalkjog, which is much better.

Dapdune Wharf

Dapdune Wharf

Finally got to walk along Dapdune Wharf, which is closed over Winter. It's so nice down there, must make sure we take Amelia for the egg hunt there next Easter. She would have loved to see the ducklings on the river this morning.
