It's a beautiful day!

Sun shone all weekend, having too much fun in the sun to squeeze in a walk so made sure I fit in a quick one tonight. Beautiful balmy night, perfect for discovering new parts of Guildford. We have lived here for nearly 2 years and every walk I am discovering new things, areas I never even knew existed.

One thing is for sure, Guildford sure knows how to do hills!! Google Maps does not do them justice - I better have buns of steel by the end of this training.

I tried to stick to the main paths tonight as like everywhere, nice nights bring out weirdos. So I walked to all the primary schools I know in the town centre.

So rewarding to climb these big hills and be able to see all of Guildford. Below is a picture of dusk with Guildford Cathedral in the background.

Back on form!

Finally back to my old self and back into training. Because I have missed quite a bit I am trying to fit more cardio in during the week to get back on form. Yesterday was my longest walk so far, at nearly 7 miles.

The muscles behind my knees took a real beating, a nice walk around Alice Holt today sorted that out.

I love this country in March. It really does like to show off.

This walk would definitely take the cake for the stinkiest so I don't think I will do this one again. Cows and sheep really do stink. Amelia would have loved it though. The cows had long hair, which I'd never seen down South before.

Time for new trainers too.

£907.44 raised for Breast Cancer Care so far too, which is fantastic!
